5* Self catering holiday cottage suitable for the disabled Penmarrick Lodge is a newly built holiday cottage, specially designed to be light and bright, with warm wooden floors and a spacious conservatory. It will comfortably accomodate seven guests and careful consideration has been given to visitors who require wheelchair access. The interior layout also allows those who have mobility problems to stay in touch with their companions.
The garden has been landscaped with paving and shrubs, and incorporates seating which overlooks the Wildlife Lake which is at a safe distance away for children. |
The cottage has all the modern facilities: including a digital TV & DVD, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, electric cooker, microwave and freezer. 
The accommodation includes a lounge and kitchen diner. There are two ground floor bedrooms with twin beds serviced by a shower room. There is a family suite upstairs with a double and a single bed and enough room for a travel cot. The suite also has a private bathroom.
The cottage is an excellent base for walking the many footpaths such as Glyndwrs way and the Ann Griffiths walk (the Welsh hymn writer). Also there are many footpaths being reopened as the health benefits of walking are being realised. Wonderful opportunities exist for bird watching at the RSPB reserve at Lake Vyrnwy. Also the Llanrhaeadr waterfall is the highest in Wales and is not to be missed.
